Hi,
I've just launch a multi-niche TGP :
http://www.trip-to-pleasure.com/
So I've put your button on each niche pages and homepage because many trades hits come to niche pages.
But according to my stats it seems the script doesn't detect that the hits are coming from trades when they hit a niche page and so I get a 0.1% bad hits result rather than a classic 2-3%. Not good for detecting bad trades.
Should I have done things differently ?
Thanks for your help. |

Hi,
nice TGP;)
You did it right, actually you just include same script file to a several pages to track hits on all of them. Why do you think you did something wrong or script works incorrect? I mean why you decided that niche pages are not under control? Did you analyze traffic flow or refer statistics? Please describe your thoughts more carefully. _________________ Free A-B-C-D Hard Links Exchange Automatic System:

When I look at the stats the domain names listed are only those sending traffic to the homepage.
For the other niche traffic I get all hits under "Noref".
So
- I couldn't check trades hitting the niche pages,
- Traffic from Noref seems to not count bad hits and so my Bad Traffic ratio is 0.1% |

ok, i got it
so all your niche traffic is being counted under Noref record in Protect-X statistics.
i suppose i found a reason:
perhaps your niche pages are being built once per certain period of time/clicks. And main page is being built on every hit in .... maybe not. But anyway, please check the way your pages are being built and find the difference between main and niche pages.
If our script code is being processed by Apache on every page build and page builds occur not every page loading, then it can't define refer or even can't determine hit in. _________________ Free A-B-C-D Hard Links Exchange Automatic System:

Yes for sure, niche pages are rebuild according to the number of clicks they generate and homepage is only manually update.
As there's no way so that all pages are rotated at the same time, does it mean I'm unable to use Protect-X on this site ? |

i can't say exactly is it possible or not untill i know what template structure you have.
What TGP script you use?
what file extensions of niche pages?
How your main and niche pages compiled? maybe our script included to footer and then to a page.
if you don't want to provide this info here, you can contact our ICQ support 463972181
Note:
- your TGP script must avoid page parsing on each build
- if your visitor come to a niche page from the main page, then it will be counted under your_domain.com record in Protect-X statistics (counted with your own refer). _________________ Free A-B-C-D Hard Links Exchange Automatic System:
