Of course we will see lousy ratios for subscription site signups and it isn't because our traffic is junk. We are TGPs that give it way for free so why should they pull out their credit cards and buy. Use the traffic to offer them something that they're not getting, such as dating sites, webcam sites, sex toy sites, etc. But trying to sell them porn just isn't going to work. It's like the Cadillac dealer saying "Take this car for a test drive for as long as you want and then if you feel like it come back and buy it." I'll bet he wouldn't sell many cars this way. |

Yes I agree greenrat about the the "we are TGP's" offer other things than just porn to much for free now days with the p2p and cheap hosting not like it was when you had to pay $200 for 500 megs of space now you get what 300 gig for that and domain names are dime a dozen. Offer toys, dvd's and as you said dating and also cams. also new Porn Sites popping everyday with same suff just diffrent layout.

Another thing to consider is that there is a certain percentage that can't buy anything no matter what you offer - they are underage. My opinion is that too many TGPs show explicit thumbs and too many sponsor galleries are very explicit. I try not to show explicit thumbs but I have no control over the sponsors FHGs. Sure, I could build my own non-explicit galleries, but 1000s of them? I guess it is a case of when in Rome ....
Also, I look at it as using sponsors FHGs is just a way to have content without the hassles of public submissions. If I ever make a sale from a FHG then that is just a bonus. |
