| Can someone please inform me of the differences in a Backward link and links that you get from an exchange. I have looked at some of the sites that say they have down very well with the link exchange program but all I see for their back links is the link exchange program. |

I think that backlinks and reciprocal links have come to mean the same thing but technically they are not the same a backlink is a link on someone else's site to yours, a one way link if you like a reciprocal link is when you link to them and they link to you
a true backlink is excellent if you can get one, given the conditions for good links such as the inclusion of your target keyword in its visible text, the link exists on a high page rank page, . . .
but short of that, a reciprocal link is good too given that search engine place a lot of value on inbound links (ie. links on other web sites back to yours) |
