| Can google penalize my site for some inbound links? For example from sites with low TrustRank? By the way can anyone explain me what it is and how it can be calculated? |

Officially, you won't get penalized from bad links. I have never seen a case of it, but I have seen debates in the forums that you can get penalized by links from "bad neighborhoods" (pharmacy, gambling, etc).
The calculation for Trust Rank is complex. At the 1000 ft level, it is based on links from a group of trusted sites. |

| According to me, google won't get penalize you if low Trust Rank sites are linking to your site. But it considers while giving ranking. So, if your backlinks are coming from irrelevant sites then those links counts less. |
