Site maps, in conjunction with a robots file tell search engines which files they should index for their searches. If you dont do it then they will take whatever they can find.. This may not be all your content or it may be content you dont want revealed (Secured areas etc) |

Google provides a service to create a site map for the google spider.
www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps
You need to create an account.

| I submitted realshemales.org to Yahoo, but can't find site map tool like Google provides. Do yahoo have site maps? |

Yes, with yahoo you can use just a text file or xml file and it will index your pages accordingly. I remembered a while back I have to upload a small file into one of my site for them to verify something, but cannot remember exactly what for.
Also I have a small site hosted with Yahoo hosting and it is doing quite well with Yahoo search. ( The obvious advantage  )
