What exactly has to be done to be compliant with 2257 laws when running a TGP? If I'm linking to hosted galleries that supply their own 2257 information at the bottom of the gallery do I need to include anything on my site regarding their 2257 information?

Well technically you are responsible for records of any model on your site engaging in anything 'sexually explicit.' If you are outside the U.S. it doesn't really apply to you...

if you want to be completely 2257 all the way, you need to have any pics or thumbs 2257 excempt , just titties, no sex, no implied sex, no virtual sex. Unless you have the docs for those performers

What if I use a mail/call forwarding service from another country? For example I can get a London mail address and phone number for $35 a month, then everything gets mailed or forwarded to me in the states. If I used the London address as my business address, and registered all my domains, and my web host to that address would that be the cheaper alternative to physically moving?
And how would those turnkey adult web sites work? If you bought an adult site from them would the fax you the 2257 information for every girl on your site? That seems highly unlikely.

basically if you have pictures or movies etc of an adult nature, "showing a sexual nature" by that i mean it would be ok to have a picture of a lady showing breasts without having to keep model information, but you would need model information etc for a picture of a lady showing her breats with someone liking them or touching them etc.
the only real way to get around the tgp and the 2257 crap is to use text links and not thumbs. As you are 2257 exempt if you display a text link rather then a thump...
i thought i would be safe and chose to make my site all text links as i dont really think that a knock on the door from the d.o.j would be rather warming.
although, you could get around the 2257 crap by listing everyone of your affiliates contact details and a link back to their 2257 notice...
i spent ages looking into all this rubbish so if anyone needs anything specific then i can paste a few of the 2257 notices etc and some research i found from good old google here if it helps.

You'll find that many tgp's out there are running thumbs and continueing to be 2257 excempt
