Hi ProtectX,
What's the difference between BAD hits and HLC (Hidden Link Click) ?
To my understanding, both are generated by bots, which blindly click on hyperlinks as they find them on a page.
But i guess, if you count them separately, there must be more to it than that.
From a user point of view, should we be looking with more suspicion to referers with a high count of HLC than to those with just BAD hits ?

Hidden link clicks, bad hits and bad countries are counted by us separately. Thus there can be when one hit will be counted as bad, HLC and from bad country.

Hm, interesting question. I think HLC much better define hitbots, coz ordinary visitor can't click on the hidden link. So you need to pay attention to high HLC percentage referers. But proxy traffic is also define a hitbots and cheaters. So the best indicator for the cheater is the combination of two factors. Though existence of the at least one of two parameters is also the sign for action (for example for banning this trade and contacting owner).
