Hi,
installed the hardlinks as per instructions, did the chmod etc ..
i added the html code to bottom of my site
<p align="center"><!--#include virtual="protectx.php"--></p>
<p align="center"><!--#include virtual="hardlinks/hardlinks.html"--></p>
but i dont get a thing show. I have checked the following addie http://www.vod4me.co.uk/hardlinks/ and i get the appropriate files and the html has been filled .. any ideas why it wont show on my site ?

Hi,
I am having trouble with the hardlinks script, i got as far as save and preview. when saving i get this error.
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../config/config.inc.php' (include_path='.:') in /home/jackp3o2/protect-x.com/includes/abcd_setup_result.php on line 5
i have hardlinks dir chmod 755
hardlinks.html chmod 755
hardlinksx.php chmod 644
any help would be greatfully appreciated |

i'm not sure but i think you need put chmod 755 or 777 for all files and folders of harldinks section !

same as everyone... having problems with the links actually showing on the page. i view source and i can see the links list being loaded but when viewing the index normally thru a browser, i get nothing. i've checked in both IE & FF so its not a browser issue. all permissions are set properly and hardinks.php is being included properly (obviously) into the page. let me know what i'm doing wrong

On your site onprobation.com I can see normally working hardlinks now. How did you fix the problem? Are you still have any problems with hardlinks?

problem was... i missed the part in the instructions that says "create a blank file called hardlinks.html"... once i did that, they started showing up properly... now i'm trying to figure out how to get more sites listed in my "chains"... am i suppose to wait for others? is it automatic? more explanation on what one needs to do or NOT do would help a lot

It's automatic process but you need wait. Usually all links of your chains are placed after several hours of waiting.

Hello
We seriously improved our Hard Links script:
1. Now it’s more stable. Many bugs were fixed.
2. Our HL became more secured: now you need give 777 rules to folder with very unique name.
3. HardLinks update is more fasters now.
4. Now we check Google PR of HL system members more properly, frequently and separately from other our sites.
5. Member area interface was improved.
We ask all our users reinstall Hard Links script on their sites.
