|
|
When looking at stats for hosted galleries do they generally only show stats
for clicks to the tour page or sign up page?
Because my site gets about 15,000 clicks a day non of my hosted gallery
affiliate stats are coming close to this.
a few of the programs I'm in are mayorsmoney, payserver, jaymancash,
flashybabes, and ccbill.
any ideas? my affiliate codes seem to be entered correctly. |

This is an Excellent Question and all sugestion are welcome!
I know is not dificult but really tricky finding out what goes where!?
lest say you are running 1 tgp at 10K a day using newest comusthumbs for example 1% takes of 100 hits at the most.
plus your traffic script 1% usually 120 hits out.
this alone is like 300 hits lost not much to be honest for the used of free script as an example ONLY!.
Now lest say u are using 5 sponcers on that tgps!
Depending on the type of program + - 10% lost automatically
that is a good 1000 hits lost.
Now Charing your traffic with traffic trading affiliates a good skim 60% to 70% Minimal 50% if you puch that then you are just a CJ! This is only and example! = 3500 to 5000 Clicks out to traffic trade affiliate.
Perty Much you end up with 3500 + or - hits to the sponcer galleries.
It all May Very at any Point and Time! is really up to the Webmasters on how they run their sites and traffic trades.
Please be advise this is a really good example.
I dont it but with only 1 sponcer in a tgp.
1 day i set the site to send half of traffic out the next i set it to sen 0 out do i still loose some due to some sites not being reach or simple the surfers just close the windows/not interested.
All Advise and Info is welcome on this topic.
Thank You AMIGOS! XWILD IS HERE!..

your right
take out people just looking for fun and hit bots ,bad bots, robots etc
then the free taffic and the free galleries scripts take there %
then you take out the mass free porn surfers
you get a few hundred hits on your sponers site
then you might get a few sign ups _________________

Its much worse than that lots of affiliates are showing only 200 hits for a whole month and even my largest ones are showing around 500.
What I would really like to know is if these stats on the sponsers are
just showing clicks onto there main site like signup pages and such. |

In my experience they either count hits to the first page or to the second page, which may be the join page or the tour. If the sponsors have forums you can ask your question there for the specific sponsor.

ok so basically they don't count hits to the actual hosted gallery just clicks beyond that.
How many hits do you guys see in your affiliate stats before a sale?
I have had only one sale, lol for about 850 hits on disel action. |

Sales depends on allot of variables!?
Starting with the Surfer it self wich 99% are mostly looking for free porn only, LOL
Sorry!...
The Sponcer , the quality and easy used of the tourpages/ joined pages ,the billing options , the quality of content , there are allot of options. is mostly a really competative world specially in porn.
i get like 1 sale on every 14 to 30 hits in in some sites.
Some days like 200 hits to 500 hits and it makes a big difference on the sponcers being used.
Also the type of programs.
Is a nightmare some times...

wow so it only takes a few hits to get a signup on these pages, thats pretty awesome I thought it would some where around 1,000. Ok so cool so it seems like my codes are all in correctly and i am only getting a few hits to signup pages.
How much money do you think a TGP should make a month if it's getting 10,000 hits a day? |

Wow, what sites would those be? I've never seen conversions even close to that so I would like to sign up with those sites. If they pay you a percentage of my signups please include your affiliate code in the link. |

I just went through this with CCBILL, and MET-ART.
Basically first on CCBILL, you get a 3 day cookie expiry.
Then if a person gets the free porn from the hosted galleries, then those clicks are not counted, but your affiliate code is captured, and will flow through the system as they hit different pages, a change that Met-ART asked CCBILL to do.
Then when you click the gallery tour, then that is when it is tracked, and in met-art and ccbill's case they have a few signup pages, and they track those clicks along to the final signup form.
And of course, the raw click is people who have no cookies and have not visited the site with the the people you have sent who has no cookie, an are therefore unique. The Unique count is the number of the raw that were not in the system in some way before.
Now, my numbers were low. My problem was I had encoded URL's turned on, and in some of the ref links, it was changing some codes to the decimal form, and the script at met-art did not decode that properly.
So I lost about 3 months of referrals, and I only picked up referrals on people who were using a more simple form of the url in the newer galleries, that did not have any encoding done that would cause a problem.
So what I suggest is call the tech support and have them check out your URL's, and to ensure you remove any encoding on them, or ensure you are using the most up to date referral code. And on MetArt for example the older galleries have an outdated code and they did not update it. For me in Smart Thumbs I just enabled encoding never considering that Met-Art did not recognize that form of the URL.

That is and Excellent Point Papinero!
I used all my affiliate code specially the ones that used the NATS system
decoded/uncode not encoded as in some casses it looses track when the pages change there for the code becomes useless
I just use my affiliate name in all links.
thank you Guys.

That is surprising. An affiliate program that converts that well and they don't want any affiliates? Maybe thay want to 'stay under the radar' because they promote something illegal. That's the only reason that comes to mind right now as to why they wouldn't want affiliates.
