Well, what things should I look for firstly. I mean, before each trade, I do go to cheaters hell first, then I check here now since I just signed up, and then I visit their site and see what type of traders they have. I do wish there was a quick way to mass check traders that they have.

What things should I look for during the trade and what signs should pop up red lights, etc.

Like, yesterday, I noticed a trader was sending 80% bad links by your stats. So, since I really never had to question this before, I sent him an email and asked WTF was going on. I sent him your link and told him to put in his website and see what it is being tagged with. Then all of a sudden, the trades stopped. So, I take it that it was a bot or cheater I assume.

Now, since this happened, what is a good procedure to do in deleting, blacklisting, and keeping my site clean of his hits? I run ATL3 trade script just so you know.

Thanks
Crow

To stop the bad hits from coming in you can add the url to your .htaccess file.

Suspicious things include:

- no toplist, or you can't see yourself on their toplist, or they hide some of their trades from the toplist, or toplist has some blanks instead of trades
- ridiculously high prod on your site
- sending back too much traffic
- weird site designs or known cheater designs
- hitbots, consoles, trojans, viruses, etc
- links to cheater sites, trades with cheaters

Thanks FatFoo.....

Is there something out there that can check for hitbots, trojans, viruses, etc? Something that is on the fly type of thing?

Also, is there something out there that can check their trades without going through each one on cheater check, etc???

Use bulk check of Protect-X Check Traders section.

except those you wrote and Fatfoo stated i can add:
- check WHOIS information (btw, we launched whois record providing on information page of each domain), pay attention to registrar, existense in blacklists and URL of name servers
- redirects (both on site loading and thumb clicking)
- clicking thumbs, searching content, reviewing it.
- using up-to-date antiviruses (Norton, avast, panda, mcAfee) and internet security programs like siteadvisor.

And reviewing Protect-X statistics on hitbot traffic and hidden link clicks of course;)

Thank you very much and now I have a little better knowledge.

Well, I had a trader who had four traders that were black listed which I sent him an email. Well, he contacted me and said he deleted them trades. So, since it was clean, I decided to put him back on active but I was going to watch him. Well, that was yesterday and now today is another issue.

So, I am bringing this up because this guy is just pissing me off.

First, he is a Protect X user which maybe there should be something done or said about him.

His site: http://bestandfreeporn.com/

Just about every other trade he pushes out is: http://www.free-best-porn.com/

Which that trade is blacklisted with trojans and adware!

Sort of funny how both the domains are named about the same!

What do you make of that?

I did a whois search and two different owners and servers. - Russian -

So, I think I had enough with this guy and getting rid of him.

I think this should be noted as well with everyone here too!

Thanks!
Crow

Bracey,

I read that post at Damage X but, it seems that they talked a lot but, it did not get anywhere! Or, were you trying to show me something different?

My point is that it's never ending.

You'll notice how the there is no product to detect hit bots.

How this site's very existence is based on the huge amount of cheaters.

You can't win. There's no magic pill.

But after a while you'll be able to look at a new trade and be 90% sure if it's a cheating site or not.

And you'll find people you trust.

3 real hits are way better than 3,000 fake ones.

How do the most of you handle overseas traffic trade requests?

I have one sign up and did check all the I could and it seemed clean so over night, I woke up and he sent me over 3800 in a good 8 hr period. With 0 Production! Mad

Besides disable that shit, should I really do anything else? Protect X showed it as clean trade and still showing it. Just curious of how I shoud handle other countries.

Thanks

Protect-X can show him clean trade and its normal , because this site can open your trade in iframe or pop-up and you receive productivity 0 , but protect-x check it and see real IP addresses and real peoples

When I get a bad site sending me shit I send it right back to them with mod rewrite so his traffic is gone.

## Return To Sender
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http(s)?://(www\.)?assbag.com.*$ [NC]
RewriteRule .* http://assbag.com [R,L]

I use this next bit to block some bots. I'm not sure where I got it from but I remember something about it being made by "Fucking Bill" and we all know who he is.

## Check For Mozilla/MSIE And Allow It Before Checking All

RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^Mozilla/[0-9]\.[0-9]\ \(compatible\;\ MSIE
