they don't detect it.
It just called "bookmarks" , it doesn't actually mean it's from bookmarks! |

The internet is made up from links, pages link to one and another.
When you click a link on say http://www.x.com/ to http://www.y.com/ your web browser automatically sends "Referrer: http://www.x.com" in the request to y.com
If you access a page that you either typed it in or used a book mark your request to the page will not have a Referrer header sent aswell and therefore will be classed as a link via Direct Access or a Bookmarked link.
Its all in the things we dont see  |

But how trade scripts distinguishes "Noref" and "Bookmark" hits? Both are without refers. |
