I am wondering if anyone else here is blocking traffic outside North AMerica, Great Britian, etc., countries who cannot purchase product anyway, and how are you doing it?

Most trade scripts have blocking capabilities, I believe.

A word of caution - I blocked Bulgaria a while back on one of my sites and then unknowingly did a trade with the owner of cheaterhell, who is from Bulgaria. Now that site is blacklisted at cheaterhell forever, even though I changed scripts and unblocked everything but China.

I think my scripts do it automatically. I haven't done anything to block traffic from certain countries...

I installed Geo-IP and the webmaster over at Awempire looked at 2500 sales, and came up with this numbers where these countries has all but 4 of the sales.

USA, UK, France, Canada, Italy, Germany

So for a few days I am doing a mod-rewrite on everything outside of these countries and them to my cash parking.

Now I suppose you might give out a click from a person in China, and they go to a traders site, and the click they send you back might be from one of the countries above, but I now for me I am trying to make some money, and these other countries can put alot of stress on a server, so if they are not going to buy a porn account, or sign up for a webcam girl, they are of little use to me.

just be sure to include on your trade page that you are blocking/redirecting traffic from these countries, im upfront about everything, i dont redirect anything but domains on EST Host/Domains, and i use Iframes on my TGPs.

Why do you want to block the traffic?
Even if they don't buy anything doesnt still make your site look good to have lots of visitors?

or does it look bad to your trades?
