Hello,
I just started working on www.atomictokyo.net yesterday and I'd like some feedback on my layout. It's pretty much bare bones right now. None of the menu bar links work and it's only the index page. I got a header image being made by an anime artist, so that's missing for the time being too. It's probably 2 or 3 weeks away from going live and accepting trades. I just want some opinions on the color scheme, the menu bars I made, and the general layout. I welcome constructive criticism, so I'm looking forward to comments you may have. Don't be afraid to share your 2 cents!

Im not sure about that background honestly, I like that its unique but im on a 24 inch lcd with 1920x1600 resolution. So I can see ALOT of your background. It ends up kinda hurting your eyes. Other then that, I like it.

On my standard desktop screen (1024x768) it looks rather cool.
Got the feeling that if the thumbs will show anime content, that background will kinda fit well.
One suggestion. As you've got hardly any text at all on your page, use ALT tags on all your graphic elements to feed on SE spiders.

Yeah I'm in the process of adding thumbs, there will be more soon. I use Comus to rotate them.

Ok, here's my personal feedback on your layout (take it from a pro  ): Overall it's good stuff.
3 Points:
1. I don't know whether you were gonna change your thumbs or not. Just in case, let me say the following. All your thumbs are like all almost from the same shot, meaning tits+face. From my experience, these thumbs will not generate good productivity. You gotta mix it up! Put some more hardcore stuff, some weird stuff, etc. You gotta make the surfer wanna click that stuff!! Increase the prod!!
2. Background is good, "hall of fame" thing is good, overall design is good. Color scheme is nice. Menu bars are nice. Layout is good.
3. You see, I have to know your traders before I can say whether your design is good or not. You see, the thing is you have to optimize you design/layout to your traders. For example, if all your traders have huge thumbs, u can't make small thumbs obviously, etc. |

Thanks for the comment "fatfoo" I know the thumbs look alike, I only have one sponser with a small asian content selection uploaded at the moment. I plan on adding a ton more before I go live and open it up for trades.

Use a rotator, place the best thumbs at the top.. Good luck.. |

I have it set to rotate every hour. It's counting the clicks for each thumb, so it'll move the most clicked into the HOF and if there's no new galleries to display for the day it will display old ones based on # of clicks and how many times it's been used already.
I'm hoping this will boost the productivity compared to my first site.... admittedly I didn't know anything when I started building it and it's kind of a cluster fuck running out of control... lol. If the Atomic Tokyo runs well I'll go switch my Sexocalypse site over to a similar format.
